Lat night, Holly had some milk & cookies before she went to bed since she didn't eat a single bite at dinner. She's sitting on the floor, which is fine, but she insisted on putting her cookies on the floor, too. Yuck!!! I couldn't do a thing about it though. She refused to eat at the table behind her and she already spilled water in the bed the first night we were here, so I didn't want to sleep in a milk puddle last night.

This morning when Van came to get us, she said we would go to a park for Holly to play, then come back to the hotel about 11:00 so she could take a nap before we went to the water/amusement park in the afternoon. When Van said park, I envisioned swings, grass, slides, etc. You know, a PARK. Instead, she took us to a miniature amusement park for little kids. Holly was happy to see all the fun things to do!

When we were done riding rides, we had some ice cream. This is Van's little cousin, also named Van but with a different middle name. I think she is really, really beautiful! And she is so sweet. I wish I could bring her home with me!

Holly rode the choo choo train three times, I think.

They all had fun on the carousel. I rode with Holly the first time, but then she went with Van & cousins and I sat in the shade.

Then Holly found the slide. It was pretty cool because you climbed up these stairs, crossed a little bridge, then went down the slide on the other side.

She played here for a very long time! Until sweat was pouring off her little face!

After a good long nap (both of us; don't kid yourself and think only Holly sleeps at naptime here!), we were ready to go to Vin Pearl Land. You can get there by cable car or by boat. We went by cable car. Holly was ready to go!

The view from the cable car.

I wasn't sure how Holly would react to the height of the ride, but she didn't even notice, except to point out all the boats.

We spent about 4 hours at the water park part of the place. There is a kiddie pool that Holly & I were in the entire time. Van, Hai, & cousins went on all the fun water slides and other stuff there is to do, while Holly went down lots of water slides of her own. It will be really nice when she figures out how to close her mouth when she puts her face in the water or stand up when she falls down. I was a nervous wreck the entire time because all she wants to do is do everything herself, so she throws a fit if I try to hold her had. I have to walk directly behind her and pay close attention to scoop her up when she falls down or forgets to pay attention! She had a fabulous time and didn't want to get out of the water, even though she was so tired she could hardly stand up!
We ate dinner there after playing in the water. Hai entertained Holly with made up music...or she entertained him by playing the chopsticks on the table and dishes...I don't really know which!
I talked them into a family picture, even though they thought it was dumb. Aren't they all so stinking cute?!

Holly was starving tonight! She's definitely back on her game when it comes to food after being sick for a couple of days. And she didn't have lunch because she was napping. She kept cramming noodles into her mouth and would choke herself because she wouldn't stop to chew what was in her mouth before eating more. She ate about 3 platefuls of noodles and stole a few of Hai's french fries, too.

We watched a water & light display set to music, then went to the aquarium there. The aquarium has a really cool moving sidewalk that you stand on and it takes you through all these different fish tanks that are on both sides of you and above you. You see so many kinds of fish from a completely different point of view than you normally do in an aquarium.
Then it was back to the hotel and to bed. Holly is snoring up a storm next to me as I type this. Tomorrow we will got to Van's dad's factory and over to her cousins' house, I think. Maybe it won't be such an intense and busy day tomorrow. We will leave Nha Trang sometime on Thursday to go back to Ho Chi Minh City for the rest of the time before we leave.
